II Concurso PIMAga

 

On the occasion of the International Day of Mathematics (14/03), CITMAga announces the II PiMAga Contest.

The II PiMAga Contest was created with the aim of bringing Mathematics closer to society in a friendly way, and for this we want to promote and reward different initiatives and activities that teachers in our community are carrying out in their classrooms.

This initiative is aimed at teachers of all educational levels working in the autonomous community of Galicia. Participants must answer the following question: "What do you do in your classroom to celebrate the International Day of Mathematics?".

The response must include a text explaining the activity or project carried out in the classroom and may, at the participants' choice, be accompanied by any other additional material: image, video, infographic... Participation will be carried out via email citmaga@citmaga.gal, where the candidates must send their proposals indicating their name and surname, the name of the center, the educational level of the classroom in which the proposal was developed and the explanation of it. We remind you that any additional material chosen by the participants can be sent in this submission. The deadline for submitting applications will be from March 14 to March 31, 2025 (both included).

During the selection process, the criteria that will be assessed in the proposals are:

•    Presentation of the activity.
•    Quality and originality of the resources developed.
•    Originality of the methodology and purpose.
•    Degree of adaptation to the elements of the curriculum.
•    Degree of development in the execution of the activity and achievement of objectives.

 

The jury of the competition will be composed of the members of the Scientific Dissemination Commission of CITMAga.
