Abstract:

The B-side of hyperkähler mirror symmetry between Hitchin moduli spaces is furnished by "BBB-branes" : certain sheaves that remain holomorphic upon rotations of complex structure. In this talk we report on ongoing joint work with Emilio Franco, in which we build and study this collection of remarkable sheaves following Gaiotto--Witten's philosophy of S-duality of boundary conditions. If time permits, we will discuss relations to the emergent arithmetic theory of relative Langlands duality proposed by Ben-Zvi--Sakellaridis--Venkatesh, where L-functions are natural examples of these hyperholomorphic objects.
