Abstract:
I will discuss the construction of a p-adic L-function associated with the convolution of a cuspidal Siegel modular form F of genus 2 and a cuspidal modular form g, when both F and g are non-critical at p (but not necessarily ordinary). This extends previous work of Loeffler--Pilloni--Skinner--Zerbes, and involves a suitable notion of nearly overconvergent forms in higher degrees of coherent cohomology ("nearly higher Coleman theory"). I will also mention applications to the Bloch--Kato conjecture. Joint work with Rob Rockwood.
